About Us

The RSVP Volunteer Caregiver Project is a project of the Western Dairyland RSVP Program, serving the residents of Trempealeau County in Western Wisconsin.
RSVP is one of the nation’s largest senior volunteer networks connecting nearly 300,000 volunteers age 55 and over with service opportunities in their communities that match their skills and availability. RSVP is a program of Senior Corps, receiving support and funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service, an independent federal agency created to connect Americans of all ages and backgrounds with opportunities to give back to their communities and their nation.
There are over 650 RSVP projects across the United States and 17 projects throughout Wisconsin. This allows local volunteers to respond to local needs. Each RSVP project has a sponsoring agency. Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council has sponsored the RSVP project serving Wisconsin’s Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin and Trempealeau Counties for over 30 years. Since then, RSVP Staff has worked closely with leaders of community organizations in order to refer individuals age 55 and over to service opportunities that both suit the volunteer and meet community needs. Volunteers choose when and where they would like to serve.
RSVP deeply appreciates contributions from individuals, churches, and businesses. Monetary donations help us continue our mission of bringing volunteer assistance to those who need it.
RSVP is guided by a Board of Directors and Advisory Council representing the communities we serve and is administered by a program director.
